From the fields of Sri Lanka, Ceylon Supreme is a wonderfully complex organic single origin black tea. When first smelling this tea, you might notice a slight sweetness to the nose that vanishes after the tea has been exposed to the air for a few seconds. And when brewing this tea, the first thing my nose caught was the sent of a babbling brook. The earthy and loamy scent of wet rocks and moss with the clean scent of running water. The flavor of this tea is a smooth and subtle black tea that is a simple pleasure that offers a complex flavor if you want to look for it.
Brewing Suggestions. Brew: 2 tsp of Tea / 180ml Water Temp: 90°C or bring water to a boil and allow it to rest for 1 minute before using.
Time: 4-5 minutes
Condiments: Plain, Sugar, or honey Complements.
Best paired with egg dishes and creamy desserts. Caffeine.
