Named after a local term in Bicol (Gubat, Sorsogon), which means "excitement," Ruyàg serves as a constant reminder to find joy amidst the challenging times. Ruyàg community aims to create intentional, cruelty-free, organic products made by Bicolano hands.
What makes us different?
- We empower a community of locals. Our makers are seasoned artisans and craftsmen who produce export-quality items. Currently, we organized 100 weavers in Bicol, particularly in Albay and Sorsogon;
- We foster inclusive growth. Our fibers and raw materials are locally sourced while we cultivate local grassroots weavers and create sustainable opportunities for them;
- We are on a green mission! Our products are intentional, cruelty-free, and vegan. We use traditional hand and manual equipment that leaves zero carbon footprints on the environment.
