Collection: Kubo Honey

It all started with our dad — a mountaineer and missionary whose adventures led him to meet locals and indigenous honey hunters in remote provinces. They taught him how to track bees, assess hunting seasons, and harvest honey from the wild — a craft he came to love and respect.

Over the years, he collected over 30 wild honey varietals from forests across the Philippines, each with its own color, flavor, and story. He shared them with friends and family, offering tastings straight from our home.

As siblings, we later grew curious about the bottles we’d grown up around — exploring their origins, flavor profiles, and culinary uses. The deeper we learned, the more we wanted to share.

Kubo Honey was born from this journey — a commitment to championing wild Philippine honey and making its unique varietals more known, accessible, and valued in everyday and professional kitchens.
